Whilst certain people may deserve a long spell in prison I don't see what we, the fans, have done to deserve being kicked out of the comp. We turn up in numbers home and away, we've raised 500k in 10 days to pay debts we didn't know about, Bullbuilder are helping with the youth teams and those laid off. I don't agree that because a small group of people have made an unprecedented disaster of a great club that the fans should be held responsible. Furthermore, we didn't tell RFL to give Peter Hood £1.5 million. That was there own completely unfathomable decison.
Dont disagree. My point is that, if the RFL are going to kick us out, they should do it now, not at the end of the season. Apparently ABC have asked for assurances that we will retain our SL license. They have no right to any assurances that we will retain our license in 2014, but they should be told now if we will retain it until then (subject to there being no further problems).
There has been a suggestion that RFL want to see the Bulls complete the season and then conduct a mini licensing review involving the Bulls, Fev and Fax. Nigel Woods also said they wanted the Bulls to complete the season and then review the situation. But its completely unrealstic to expect ABC or any potential buyer to commit the funds required to rescue the club if the license could be removed at the end of the season.
The RFL have had their accountants "helping out" at the club so should have a detailed understanding of the club's finances. They should be able to evalute whether ABC's bid will provide the necessary financial security for the club. There should be no reason why they cannot decide now if the club's punishment should be a points deduction or loss of license.

Yeah, right I see what you're saying now. Nobody's going to fund us without that info going forward. High stakes poker really. The RFL want the Bulls to fulfil fixtures whilst ABC/Guilfoyle say they're not taking the club to the end of the season without assurances the license is in place next year.
The Whole issue comes down to a question of integrity.
Even though we have been one of the most successful clubs in the Superleague Era, WE ARE SIMPLY NOT "ENTITLED" TO BE IN SUPERLEAGUE.
Superleague has in place (rightly or wrongly) the licensing system, and by entering administration, the RFL reserve the right to revoke that license when they see fit. The RFL has already gone above and beyond what other governing bodies in sport would do in helping to keep us afloat, in terms of the stadium purchase and drawing down Funding early.
They hold all the cards. they will not want the adverse publicity of a top club going bust, but they wont want to be seen to be condoning financial meltdown at a club without punishment.
This will go to the brink! They dont want to have to expunge all our results, as it will leave a very strange looking league as we play leeds 3 times! but they also will want to be seen to be fair to the likes of Featherstone and Halifax who are potentoally in SL.
With my cynical hat on, I feel the RFL will "conduct" a mini license review of the three clubs, and that we will keep our place until the next full license review. It will be a sham, and the fans of fev and halifax will quite rightly cry foul.
The ABC people will keep the club going until the point of the next license, but then, who knows? Even Guilfoyle isnt looking beyond the next 18 months!

Don't think there is any chance of the RFL kicking us out now - in fact they are desperate that we finish our fixtures. It would cause a rare old rumpus if our results were expunged, especially if Leeds beat us tomorrow (wash my mouth out!) since they won at Magic Weekend they would have most to lose and (rightly) being the biggest losers, wouldn't be happy at all. Maybe the RFL could expunge all the Magic Weekend results to keep a level playing field? Mmm, tell everyone MM was a total waste of time and money, yeah and pigs might fly...
Incidentally, if my reading of reports coming from Sod Hall are correct, it's not either or, they are talking about points deduction and relegation, and that's just for going into admin - if it comes to a total winding up and newco, I think we have to turn up to be shot. Maybe we'll get away with transportation to Australia - if so I baggsy South Sydney, that's where most of our team is anyway...

The RFL cannot conduct a mini license review in mid season, whilst still expecting the Bulls to fulfill their SL fixtures. And if they want to conduct one at the end of the season it will only involve Fev and Halifax.
Mr Solly told the T&A: "No bids have been received or offers made, but the administrators have been in touch and asked us to meet with them tomorrow.
"We are waiting for them to get back to us to confirm when time they would like to meet."
Mr Guilfoyle was not available for comment
....and the wait goes on. So is this good news or bad news? Or the more likely slightly good news slightly bad, but not good enough, so lets all go away and try again, and we all wait again till the 27th?
