Why would anyone come from the other side of the world to buy a club in the state ours was/is with no budget or intention for a competitive squad? Surely they wouldn't, would they? There must be a plan or what's the point. They still have my benefit off the doubt, for now. But I need to see more than just resigning what was left of last season's squad as the bare minimum to put out a team out. I really want to be positive but it's tough going.

Danny Lockwood just tweeted that Jordan Lilley is one of 6 players heading our way on loan. Those players coming from Leeds and Salford!

I thought the maximum number of loan players was five?

I wonder if the Muallally at Leeds might be the one for us, the big prop? He never seems to be high up the pecking order

Thought he was one of their first team players, would have thought a dual reg with Fev would be more likely option if they were wanting him match fit. But I'd be very happy to see him here for a month if they've struck a deal, hope we hear some news today.

As far as I can see with the rules, the maximum number that can be in your 19-man matchday squad is five. It doesn't seem to suggest you can't have 20 on the books, as long as only 5 end up playing each game.

Leeds are dual reg with Fev aren't they? So any short term loans from them wouldn't really make sense.
There's no way we would ever get Lilley on a season long loan because any injuries to Maguire/Burrow and he's pretty much in their 17.
I would happily take either Mullally or Baldwinson on season long loan, but again I can't see it.

What's Evalds up to at Salford now? I'm assuming O' Brien has the 1 shirt? Evalds would be a cracking player to get on loan.

Maybe they can loan us Kopczak
