| We'd have to do that anyway as a new company.
Would imagine the new buyer will sort out whichever suppliers they want to continue with and bin off the ones they fonts

| Doesn't seem to be much info knocking about. I'm taking that as a good sign that it's all being handled professionally.
Doesn't give us much to go on though.

Subtle difference is that they use legal loopholes to lower their tax liability. We simply don't pay what's legally due. So in that sense they don't have anything to go after.

no it doesn't. I suspect by now the NDAs have gone out to the prospective buyers (as per the T and A article) so we still won't hear much for a week or two?

| Quote Slugger McBatt="Slugger McBatt"So are you saying that he put the Bulls into administration principally to get his own money back?'"
No.
He did so to eliminate the risk of the winding-up petition succeeding, and the company thus being liquidated.
If you think about it, whether the company is wound up, liquidated, sold or whatever any creditor will only get whatever they are due from whatever is available at that date. You need to get your head round the difference between keeping the body alive, and with it, the hope of someday salvaging something, and allowing the body to die, in which case there's the guarantee of getting only a %age of possibly feck-all.
I don't have any details of the administration so hard to say more.

12 Interested parties of which 4 Have already returned their NDAs with 2 of those looking to be front runners.
Hopefully this can all be sorted by Christmas and the club can start to look at moving forward again

| Admin hopes to have a new owner in place within 2 weeks
Well we certainly can't accuse these guys of dragging their feet.
Who do we think the 2 serious bids are then? I think Lawn will almost certainly be one of them, not too sure about the other. Lamb perhaps?

| Here`s another name to throw in to the pot...and it comes from a current player.
That line "they are people who have been involved in rugby" indicates there may be some truth in it.
The current owner of Wasps - Derek Richardson.

Heard that floating about, must have some serious cash or fantastic marketing to keep up with the union cap!
Also he can send us Kyle Eastmond on loan

Didn't he move Wasps to Coventry. CBB - Coventry / Bradford Bulls. Bit of a trip to our home games but at least the away ones will mostly be near home.

| I've always been a pot half full type of bloke but in this case I can't help thinking that the Admin guy is over egging it a bit. I'm a bit pot half empty at the moment given what's happened with the last 2 knights in shining armor.

Quick google of the guy from when he bought Wasps he's got a personal estimated worth of £44m,
Hopefully he will be leading a consortium...
either way could be better than the bed man or a curry shop man?

| Some of it sounds pretty good for you they have generated good quick interest however the fat lady comments still make it sound bleak. He states 3 to 5 years to be back where you belong and I take that to mean Super League. Do you feel the fans will accept that it may take that long?

Dont think anyone will mind it taking longer as long as there is a club to support that doesnt keep going through this

| What are the rule around contracts in this situation? When the new owner comes in are all contracts null and void or does a TUPE situation apply?

| If the business is sold then TUPE basically applies, but individuals don't have to accept the deal, as it is a complex situation where the "normal rules" (mainly, the appropriate consultations by the proposed new owner with all employees before the event) are unlikely to be possible. So if a contract is "TUPE'd" in this way, the employee has a short time to reject the TUPE and walk.

He played the TUPE card I believe.
When contracts are transferred over to a newco, they're done so under TUPE law. I believe people are well within their rights to refuse that transfer and effectively become unemployed.
Edit: And I'm too slow typing as FA has already said the same.....

All I suspect most fans want is a stable, honest club that can grow again, preferably maintaining and enhancing it's junior development. With that and the latent support that might start to reappear if the product on the field is good enough there'd be no reason why we can't challenge for promotion given time. If that time is 4 or 5 years I'd be fine with that as long as it looks like progress is being made.

Personally yes. After 3 admins I think most fans just want a club. SL is on the back-burner. I think first thing we want is a stable club and continue the fantastic development of our own juniors.

| IMHO 3 to 5 years would be ok if the product been served up by the playing staff was worth watching...
The club been stable would be good and there's no doubt the championship will only become more entertaining as Hull KR come down, London become stronger as well as featherstone, Batley and Fax..
A 12 point hammering by the RFL would be a negative and could keep people away though as viewed as whats the point?
To be honest some of the games I witnessed last year were appauling, the Featherstone one the top of the list, if we play entertaining Rugby I don't care what league we are in and I will continue to buy a season ticket to watch....I just hope the one I have half paid for is still valid!

| Unless we land a Beaumont type owner the ONLY way for the club to be run is to build on a strong foundation of players coming through the system in our U16s and U19s.
I hear good things about Rohan Smith from people around the game and I think given time we will definitely improve. 3-5 years is probably right.
Standards are improving in the the championship so it will be tough. I'm quite happy to be there for as long as it takes provided we're making improvements each year.
It could be that new clubs might not stay the course.
