Without wanting to disrespect the bulls fans tremendous effort to raise these funds to keep the club afloat I have to wonder whether there is another alternative.
At the moment the donations are headed to the current administration with no strings attached. Would it not be better to set up a supporters fund, to either be an active participator in the current setup or rescue the club once in administration.
ATM it seems like the fans are backing the same people, with no real desire for change
No disrespect Chris, but I wish this suggestion would go away now, and realise this isn't feasable!
As has been pointed out by many, the supporters trust would take far too long to set up, where as the pledge is an already established scheme that has started very brightly! I think it is fair to say we have all lost faith in the board but now is not the time to bail on them, risk administration and our club as we know it will cease to exist! There is a chance our license could be revoked and the team we follow will be alien to us supporters, not to mention the prospect of dwelling in championship 1!
It is tough handing over money to the current board, but not half as tough as the prospect of watcing our bright young talent going, and playing lower league football!
So we are not backing the current board, we are backing our players, and more importantly our club!
