That's certainly a worry - just what precisely IS going to "trickle down" out of that health centre into the whole district? Will the river Aire be a no-go area now? The public needs to be told...

Bradford gave us Hockney, Leeds gave us Moyles.

Even Hood in an interview tonight was sounding to be resigned to a ground share at VP.

This true or b.ll.cks?

Council to decide from two options

Both options look on paper to provide the club with what they require. Obviously the 75m scheme would allow many more options for use of the stadium away from RL. But if the cheaper option means we can get work under way quickly and is more realistic then I would be equally as happy to see that one.

There still looks to be a significant funding gap even on the cheaper scheme. There seems to be a lot hinging on successful grant applications for ERDF and other funding streams.

I hope whoever's bidding has got a good track record on applying for money as there have been a few c0ck ups in this area in the past.

Me neither, I'd prefer the scheme to have at least some standing. However the all seater option is probably more future proof and would allow us to hold other sporting events and maximise our grounds use. If by some minor miracle this stadium ever gets built, then having to sit is a compromise I would be willing to accept!

Damn, not the news we need right now. We need a successful OSV.
