I'm confused!

Sorry I was talking about Platt  . I think Cook should be included over Platt, and I get you now! He could cover backs and pack. :D

m62 report: briers went off tripping over his bottom lip when we scored early on. Wire not that bad, weak in final play attack but otherwise no different to when they thrashed us at home. We were better. Defence best i've seen us since saints away

Bradford were the better team today and deserved the win. However, Wire's performance was way down on our recent form, including the game at Odsal. It's no excuse but we clearly missed Mozza, Westwood and Higham, and, as even Bulls fans acknowledge, Wire are never the same without Briers, and we lost him after ten minutes. The best team won on the day, but Wire would not have won so many games recently playing like they did today.

Well done

Even though your not playing at your best - you completely stiffled us today and dominated all aspects of the game

The beter team won

when two opposite points of view are expressed with equal intensity, the truth does not necessarily lie exactly halfway between them. It is possible for one side to be simply wrong.

Well I was at the game too and I was keeping an eye on him after last week.
He has some way to go yet but was much better than last week.

Who was man of the match? Good to see two wins on the trot. Should keep Schofield in the RLW quiet. I know everyone is entitled to their opinions but his attacks on Macca are over the top.

I agree, I thought he was below par once again. Kicking execution has become so woeful its untrue.

He took a couple of big hits again and seemed to lose his way towards the end of the first half. He put a couple of straight kicks in that no one else seemed to be able to read or understand and squandered some solid possession, it looked like Rinaldi was under instruction to take over the kicking after that point. However he did have the awareness to put the drop goal over when the hooter sounded and in the second half whilst his in game kicking was still fairly dire his defense was solid and he seemed to get back into the swing of things. The fact is however that he still routinely manages to pass behind his target a couple of times a game and has slowed down (Yep Tigertot know it's hard to believe) considerably (hardly surprising given the hits he's taken).

Yesterday was hardly a new dawn, a team on their mettle would have made it far closer, but Wire's ball retention was woeful and they bombed a couple of tries other teams would have taken. However, Morrison seemed to give us some steel, Halley and Lynch were excellent, Sheriffe showed signs of growing in to his role and defensively for the most part we were better organised. Let's hope we go from strength to strength. Great to be part of a really vocal set of supporters, it looked like the team responded well to that level of support.

Morrison was superb. The Bulls really do need to get his contract extended. Halley was very dangerous too.
