I think we have a tendency to think that's just an excuse, but I witnessed first hand yesterday that he's spot on with it.

My sister brought a load of new people to the Leeds match earlier this year and they all mentioned how much they enjoyed the pre-match stuff too.

having 2 relatives in the forces (one being my brother although not on the front line) i think that its a fantastic idea! maybe do something at the next MM weekend of CC final/GF?

right lads let's pull out of iraq and afghan and never go to awarzone again, why? because civillian people like some on here couldnt care less what we do, maybe it's a war people dont want, but hey ho we got on with it, lets lay down our arms next time and let people walk all over us like the IRA did for a few years before the lads gave them a good hiding, when something bad happens to this country of ours and you lot complain i come on here and quietly say as a british solider i told you so....... then grab my gear and do the job just as well.

Halifax last year announced all service personal would be allowed free admission on showing there ID card's (MODS 90), it would be a great gesture if more clubs allowed this, things like this do mean a lot to us service personnel as little as it may be it’s a nice gesture .

Tried to do it yesterday but got refused wouldnt even give me discount, had to pay the full £17 and only had enough for one smooth pint!
