I hope he makes it. SL is desperately short of even half decent British threequarters - if the guy makes a fist of it we could do far worse than getting similar players from Yawnion over. League's never going to attract the top Union players again as the money flow's the opposite to what it once was, but there must be a fair few outside backs in Union who for whatever reason are drifting in that game but could make a go of league.
From what I remember of Union wingers converting in the past, the main issues are the PTB (I think Jim Fallon took about a year to get up to speed with that!) and stamina - the number of kick returns and other involvement will generally be far higher in league. Other than that the basics are pretty much the same.
