How is he a major creditor?

I'm not saying he isn't, I don't know, but I am not aware of any specific loans he has made to the club so am curious why everyone seems to take this claim as a given, so I'm just asking on what it is based.

Ross seems to think Green has a debenture in place acting as security against monies he put in to the club.

seen it reported somewhere he's lodged a 650k debt as part of the admin. Dont think its one specific loan to club as opposed to general money he's put in over last three years to keep us going.

Because the money he has "invested" into the club over the last 2 years was in the form of a loan, not a gift.

So in a way, both the people that said he'd put no money in, and those who said he must have put money in, are both kind of right. He has put money in, but he's trying to make sure he gets it back.

Anyone know if Gareth Roberts is in the running, he was in last time under the guise of Bradford(Park Avenue), he as the money, and before anyone says that BPA are struggling that's because he is running a tight ship due to treading water re promotion isn't possible because of ground issues, he has plans for Horsfall but covenants and the council are preventing any improvements, he is known to have stated he would give it to end of this calendar year if no movement with his dealings with the council he was going to consider other sites.

Also interesting note from Ross in his tweets that the club are just over £1 million in debt. That would be not far off the figure of adding Marc Green's debenture figure to the HMRC bill.

The last thing that I want to happen is for a new owner to take over and then in their first interview they issue a rallying cry that if the fans want Super League then they need to back the club.

I think i'd wave the white flag if that happens as they would obviously be reliant on the fans to finance the club, as previously proven.

It feels like anyone without wealth, which includes Marc Green, is merely a temporary custodian until Administration 4. And I wouldn't be around to start a thread on it that's for sure.

There is a difference between saying you'll advance money only on the security of a debenture (which is what IIRC he did with Whitcut); and taking out a debenture as security for money previously advanced or loaned unsecured. The point being, if he put in 650K or whatever in late July - where is it, and why did we go down? Why not use half of it to pay off HMRC and then argue later?

I'd assume it was money put in over his entire 3yr tenure including last year when we made a loss over the season and during this season to fund new coach and players brought in during season. As no accounts have been filed for that period then its impossible to say at what point funds were put in.
