ATEOTD if the RFL refuse to sanction this deal then they are going to be seriously out of pocket. Additionally many people will be thrown on to the dole and a top super league league club will close its doors for good and a few thousand supporters without a club to support who may lose complete interest in the professional game. The RFL simply have to let this deal go through. Too much is at stake to be worrying about a few minor rules and principles being transgressed.
It may well be that the RFL will be seen to be setting precedents that others consider unfair but in the light of these troubled economic times i think we are very lucky to see someone come forward to buy this club and any rejection of such a deal would just be plain stupid.

RFL may be out of pocket more if they accept the deal. Sell the lease for less than 1.2m then the RFL make a loss. I suspect the ABC offer will be far below 1.2m. Furthermore the chances of losing the odsal land for RL will be far higher. Keeping odsal will enable the RFL to keep the lease, keep odsal for RL and they may get an income from ''bradford bulls 2012 ltd'' playing there as a championship club and maybe later as a sl club.
Also allowing the bulls to stay in sl after administration may lead to long term problems with HMRC and may be counter to what many sl clubs want (a sl of 12 or 13 clubs).
