Hopefully the RFL will see sense now and put the game back where it was in the first place.
seriously doubt that will happen as its part of RFL's promotion of rugby in london. basically we've had our pre-season disrupted for the benefit of harlequins and no benefit to ourselves. Now we're going to have the handicap of having to play 3 games in 7 days at some point during the year to add insult to injury. Th only possible benefit to us is that we may have bird and lynch available for the re-arranged fixture.
assuming that the RFL dont cancel the many fixture and put us back on in round 2 then the only fair thing they could do is allow the bulls to nominate when we play the fixture so we get to play a mid week where we dont have tough games either side. You watch them make us play it between leeds and saints or similar though
doesnt help that its the 2nd year running that our pre-season has been disrupted by a WCC that we arent even involved in
