I have only been wrong once and thats because I thought I was wrong but I was wrong I was right!

Petty authoritarians aren’t man enough to challenge the actions of a person face to face; instead they incite a forum of rumour, innuendo and half truths, and impose rude sanctions to discourage those who dare question fairness.

Anon.

You could tempt Paul March as long as you give him a nice white linen table cloth to write his game plan on

We need quality at halfback (either stand off or scrum half), and loose forward.

I am hoping that perhaps Donaldson will be able to take on this role in the not too distant future. The way things are looking he might well be ready for some 1st team action next year.

We also really need some quality in the backs. Don't really care where but at the moment we have nobody in the backs who is a genuine threat to the opposition or who could get us out of a sticky patch in a game.

I cannot agree more here. I will be bitterly disappointed if the recruitment doesn't at least improve this area of our squad. We have too many holes to plug in one off season but we need to see SOME improvement.

I can accept failure, but I can't accept not trying.

I just don't see James Donaldson ever been big enough for a loose forward IMO he'll end up as a 6.

Is he quick enough to play six?

He will fill out a bit yet and probably isn't quite fully grown just yet, I don't think you need to be that big to be a good quality 13.

He's only a couple of inches shorter than one of the best ball playing 13s in the league, in Kevin Sinfield. He's only 17 so probably got a bit of growing left in him

The weight will come when he puts some muscle mass on. Look at the likes of Burgess and Langley, although you could argue the weight they put on hasn't helped.

It would be nice to have a creative 13 again. Been a while since we had one.

Brad Mackay wasn't all that big either and he was a good loose forward. But 6/13 who cares.. let's just hope he fulfils his potential and isn't another Matt Cook.

Probably was the last one yeah.

After that we had Forshaw, Swann, Radford and Langley (unless I'm forgetting someone). All super hard workers, with the possible of Swann, but none of them with the skill to play 6.

A ball playing loose forward makes a good team a great one imo. Hence why Leeds struggle so much more when Kevin Sinfield isn't playing.
