I'd rather gamble our future on a fan owned club starting in CC1 than gamble our future on Mr X with unknown reasons for buying the club if he /they are not supporters or RL people. problem is that like it or not we need the glory fans to keep turning out to make us economically viable. the likes of you and me would carry on going irrespective of whether we were in SL or CC1. But I seriously doubt the club could survive at CC1 level in any recognisable form. Strip away all our current players plus bulk of youth teams, who would be snapped up by other SL teams, and whats left. A drop down the leagues wouldnt be for ayear or two til the next licensing period then us coming straight back up. It would be for 5+ years and the support we'd shed could easily condemn us to being stuck at that level permanently.
