The question remains as to why the bid was rejected.

Was it buying back Odsal, Staying in Superleague, maybe staying in superleague for x number of years or maybe the consortium didn't fit with the investigation that all owners of clubs have to go through to ensure that they are financially stable themselves?

Not good, whatever the reason. Just have to see if this second party by Khan fronted by the MP is any better.

Good luck. Still can't see you not being in SL next year though.

The hard choice, but the right choice I think.

The governing body cant be seen to be held to ransom. If what's happening at Bradford happened again at other clubs, it then means the RFL would need to accept conditions then to be fair.

The hard choice as they could be seen as letting The Bulls cease, but ultimately the right choice.

Just hope Bradford can find another option now. If not I have no doubt that they would achieve large crowds in the Championships and work speedily towards a new SL franchise...hopefully in a better position.

Neither can I now. It has to be the continuation of the existing license. If it was because they wanted to keep the stadium lease but not any guarantee that anyone will be playing in it then I would suggest they are mindless morons.

For the cherry on top what we need now is for whoever decides on the license issue to get together and agree that, if the club had survived, it could have kept the existing license for the duration of its term and they just didn't want to pre-empt that decision when considering the offer.

Didn't sutcliffe state in article this morning that his bid would have same conditions re lease and license attached?

The RFL statement does say that they are reviewing a second bid, it's worded like it's from another bidder. Lat sentence, nearly missed it.

Yes they did, which would suggest they will hit the same objections unless ABC was stopped because of financial checks.
