Well all the bids are in (or should be as Friday was the deadline). I don't know if they'll have been working over the weekend on the bids.

I think that perhaps, given the time of the month, it might just be that there's money to ensure all the staff and players get paid for November.

One good thing about this administration is the prospect of us coming out of it intact is really winding up the fax fans.

Pretty certain it's mainly you that's winding up the fax fans. ;-)

True but of course that translates to ALL Bulls fans and we all deserve to die a slow and painful death, in Odsal if possible, perhaps choking on all that help received from the RFL!!

And to think every fan of every club I have spoke to at a game are decent human beings but behind a keyboard... (and that includes a few of our own ;))

Something could be in place by Thursday according to the administrator.

Also elsewhere in the paper, Dale Ferguson is confirmed at Huddersfield (2 year deal) and a friendly away to Batley on the 15th January. Although it says Bradford Bills, so either it's a typo, or the bloke behind the Buffalo Bills is one of the interested parties...

Can you two give it a rest now or take it to PMs please?
Honestly, you're both as pedantic and stubborn as each other so this could go on for eternity. I can't be the only one getting fed up of these walls of text you keep sh*tting up this thread with.

Come on mods, have a word.

Seconded. If not, at least split it on to another thread so we can choose not to read it when we're trying to discuss the current situation rather than the previous one.

2015 - major missed opportunity, 2016 - stronger teams = harder task (no problem there then), 2017 - OMG What now!!!

Re: Administration 3 - now in technicolour : Mon Nov 28, 2016 8:48 am
Lots of positivity from the administrators has to be a good thing. However reading the league express this morning, in one article it states the players have been assured they will be paid. In another the administrator stating he is aware the players get paid on the last day of the month and he will have to see if that is possible as they did not have an up to date list of employees or the list of people on the salary roll as someone from the club was on holiday. Using the reality card how can anyone put in a bid and plans going forward if none of that is known. I also find it hard to believe that no one else at the club has access to this information. Surely the administrators have been around for long enough to have this info.

It is a little odd. I can understand asking the employees if wages can be paid a couple of days late, as if it's correct that a new owner could be in place on Thursday/Friday, you can see why paying them on Wednesday might be an issue and it would be easier on everything to hang on a day or two. But this stuff about not having access to a current employee list is very strange.

My only thinking on the "proper" list of employees, might relate to the players, as has been mentioned here before, many contracts end in November, so we might just need to be careful we pay the right people, as we've shipped a fair few out / many have jumped ship. Also, we won't possibly playing the incoming ones until December if they formally start on 1st Dec?
