He's a personal friend of Bill Gates.

Same old consortium wallers , I hope the RL stand firm and ask for 1.25m up front and also say we cannot guarantee your SL status for very obv reasons.

This will smoke out the fake Sheiks and really test if they have cash and Bulls interests at heart. A newco that burns all of it's debts deserves to start in Championship as London should.

Anyway , what will be will be at this late stage of the day

To be honest no one really knows (except the main players) what the conditions were. I don't think it is unreasonable for the RFL to expect to get their money back.

Until someone comes up with what the offer was it is impossible to blame the RFL for not accepting the terms.

I think the SL licence is a strange one. I personally think it is perfectly reasonable for ABC to ask this. If Bradford were to lose the licence it would surley effect their business plan moving forward

For what it's worth I agree the RFL (and by extension the game) shouldn't out of pocket on the deal but they have stated they won't entertain conditional offers, they have rejected the only deal on offer with no mention in the press release of continuing discussions or negotiations. IMO they aren't being realistic if they think anyone is going to put money in under those apparent terms, so the Bulls will be liquidated and the RFL left with a useless lease.
