Agree they should get their money back but why upfront? RFL had agreed to a market rate rent which would eventually have got them their money back. So long as we at least match that rate of repayment then the RFL are in no different a position than they agreed to earlier in the year.

In hindsight I was wondering whether Warrington's decision to donate money from this weekend ticket sales to the supporters fund rather than the club directly was inspired prediction of the bid failure (or do other SL clubs know something??), a cautious approach as they knew that at least the fund would be there come Monday morning, or simply that they thought the money needed to go where it was deserved.

don't need money up front as long as they still hold the lease, only need money up front if the consortium insist on buying back the lease. If they are not prepared to invest in a lease who is to say they will invest in the club

In order to be able to go forward beyond today, am i right in saying the administrator needs to be able top guarantee he can pay the wages of the August salary run.

The players salaries will accrue from monday and thus Brendan guilfoyle needs to have the funds available nowas the bulls have no hame games before these salaries become due on 10th August. The players have been paid up to today so lets see what happens. I think the RFL will meet your wage bill.

Aye. As a Man U director did Maurice vote for the Glaser Man U takeover which has left them hundreds of millions in debt? Maybe he could ask the Glasers if they have any small change in their pockets for a rugby investment.
