Does anyone know what the timetable is today?
Has the Quiet Man Mr G given any time when he'll make a statement regarding liquidation or another extension?
Are the RFL Board meeting today and if so any time given for a statement on the new bid?
Are any of the bidders expected to make statements or reveal more details of their bids?

It would be useful if some of the trade journalists could give the fans an idea of what is going on-- I don't think the report that there's speculation about Mick Potter and the London job is the Bulls news story of the day.

PS I do class Widnes at home as a proper game-- in fact if the worst happens I might even switch my allegiance to them in view of their Chairman's actions in this sorry affair!

Good luck for today, and hope you are still in SL next season.

Think the RFL are posturing and will accept 1 of the 2 bids on the table, but need to be seen to be gaining some concessions to save face. If not resolved today expect a further deadline extension.

Only the Sun I know, but stated that RFL have agreed to pay players wages until November (apologies if this has already been mentioned)

The RFL gave the club the money up front, even before they took hold of the lease.

Maybe they have a cunning plan to sell the iconic hole in the ground to Wastefield. A ready made, no work required, hole in the ground should be just up their street.
