There's plenty that have one or the other - but who has both?

I've been following Northern/Bulls for long enough to disregard any, and every, optimistic forecast of that type, so I'm totally unimpressed by anything not containing specifics. I'll reserve the tight to be impressed as, and when, details are furnished. Until then, yaka yaka yaka..

Exactly my thinking. Rugby experience, minted, willing to pay off debts, pay wages and invest in Bradford RL??? I'm not sure I'll believe even if I did see it...

This admin does seem different to the others. I am cautiously optimistic.

Something is certainly different this time around.

The level of interest suggests something, possibly quite substantial, has changed somewhere.

I don't think it's within the game - internationals in the last couple of years have raised the profile a little, but not by the amount that this type of change would suggest - and the club itself is certainly no more attractive this time around. So I reckon something outside the game has changed - prompting a lot of extra interest and I can only surmise that it revolves around the council's attitude towards owning Odsal.

I'm not sure. They only thing I can point to is that despite everything the club has hung onto a healthy level of support.

I remember the only positive to take out of the stuffing we got in our last game that mattered at Fev was that we had a great following that day.

If we can get a side to compete and get in the top 4 (and I think we have that pretty much) we have something we can build on.

To be honest. I'm trying to be optimistic, but I can't lose those nagging doubts. The first of which is the team. Yes, I agree, as it stands there is plenty of scope to look on the bright side, however we always seem to lose players when in admin and unless the deal is struck before the end of the month my memory tells me there is a large regular payment due.

If we're still in the administrator's hands on the 30th then who knows where the wages money is coming from?

I just can't imagine a millionaire spending what has be stated as £1m in clearing debts + high running costs just because we have the potential of getting decent crowds. Many of us would if we won the Euro Lottery but an outsider - I can't see it.

I come to the same conclusion every time which has been touched on by others. Three words - Odsal + development potential.
The millstone called Odsal may just turn out to be the hidden jewel in the crown if the authorities and us supporters finally accept it should be used for other things.

That is all I can see as a bait to get a millionaire businessman biting. If it is, then please let the council and RFL let go of Odsal and let it be developed and have the Bulls and possibly P.A share a neat smaller ground somewhere else.
Other than this, I see a perennial struggle every year.

I wonder if the development at Rooley Park next to Odsal has got someone interested in the land?

But one thing is for certain, the last time there was a bit of a buzz it turned out to be Richard Mathers.

Enough said. I will temper any form of excitement until an actual announcement.

i think staying at Odsal is the only viable option. To build a brand new stadium even a modest one would cost at least 10 million plus. Then locating and securing a suitable location would be very difficult. Only minor redevelopment of Odsal is required ; a roof over the tunnel terrace, extending and refurbishment of the changing rooms, upgrading of floodlights and scoreboard. A extensive redevelopment would be to extended the roof of the coral stand placing a terrace/seats underneath, bringing forward the Rooley La terrace square off and roof. Block in the corners to create a more intimate stadium. There you have a 20,000 plus stadium for less than 10m.

I struggle to understand why Odsal costs more to maintain than and other stadium other than may be having the admin block and offices away from the
corporate facility.

But why would anyone do this for less than 20 full openings a year. For anyone interested in buying the club I believe buying the lease off the RFL is essential and also council engagement is crucial. Just few questions to ponder - what is to happen the Richard Dunns sports centre and land? who is responsible for the acres of land south east of the coral stand towards the m606? Why did the swimming complex on Nelson Street suddenly get scrapped ? Answer these questions and may be the answer why buying the bulls could be of interest.

I can accept failure, but I can't accept not trying.

To build a roof covering the popular side and Rooley end was quoted at over 8 million quid in 2011.
