Agreed, excellent updates. Very much appreciated to keep everyone so up to date.

As far as my opinions on it, if I'm honest something doesn't sit right. This idea of Nigel Wood taking over ownership when 3 years ago that was exactly what was rumoured to happen once Chalmers had done a shift, I find it hard to believe this wasn't the plan in the first place. And if it was, surely that means Wood has been there or thereabouts while Chalmers and co have racked up all this debt?

I have no reason to doubt the credibility of Sawyer or Perez, but something just doesn't sit right about the whole sale. Maybe that's because something isn't right or maybe it's because we're so used to being burned that I can't possibly believe it's not dodgy. Time will tell I suppose. But hey, we're not allowed to be negative (which is a strange statement considering what people have been put through).

Here's hoping it's the start of an upward trend. I'm struggling to believe it is though.

Sorry but can't say I'm going to carry on.

Anything that Nigel Wood is involved with has only one route that I can see.

Cheers. When I get home I'll try and look at other comments to see if I remember missing anything important.

I noticed Roger in attendance and it would be good to hear how he is feeling after what hes heard tonight.

As I said before, the message is fairly similar to past "fresh starts" but this was the lowest key one I've attended. Not glitz or free chocolate bars to bribe you with.... I took it as a lot of plain Yorkshire speaking with a tinge of hype in the form of a canadian accent.

This board sounds like it will change quite quickly so I don't think anyone can take much from tonight. It will all depend on who comes in for the long term.

Are players and fans going to buy into that when they know those they are negotiating with are gone in six months time?

I'll go as I'm a half glass full optimist with a gluten for punishment but some may decide it's not for them.

Feels there is quite a bit of the story still to tell

Well I’ll be buggered if I know what’s going on. Time to forget about RL for a few months and see whether at seasons kick off there is something worth getting behind.

Thanks for all the updates.

I know how you feel... it's like when a dog has been beaten by its previous owners and it wants to be shown affection but is frightened of getting another kicking!!!

It may look like it's been stolen but it's just sheer incompetence.
