Now you can try to ramp up your ludicrous case by trying to define your newly introduced phrase "REAL TOP" players

My newly introduced phrase?

Strangely........

Ferocious Aardvark earlier wrote: How many more top players - real top players - like Morrison, Menzies and Hall

Oh dear!

You get into an argument about semantics now if that's what you want, in your typical attempt to present yourself as having "won" your self-decreed "argument", but anyone who would claim that Morrison (over 200 NRL games scoring over 60 tries, selected for Country Origin in 2001, 2003, 2004 and 2005) or Hall (current NRL Grand Final winner, WCC winner) are outside the category of top class signings, must surely be on the wind-up.

Good signings they are indeed, but you claimed that they were "real top players" which is silly.

You probably don't actually even know that for the second half of last season, Hall was mostly keeping Menzies on the bench? (Or is Menzies second rate too in your gaga opinion?)

As it was widely accepted that Menzies was not neccessarily up to 80 minutes of RL in the NRL each week then why would I not know that? I suppose you think that Hall would have kept a Menzies in his prime on the bench?

However, as usual there are more than my dissenting voices against your stupid opinion but guess whose one you concentrate on the most?

Your obsession is touching however.

I agree, I thought he was talking about the top class signings like Micheal Platt, Ricki SHerrife, Paul Sykes, Chris Nero, Semi Tadulala, Ben Jeffries, Wayne Goodwin and Micheal Worrincy. You know, them top class signings

Don't be silly, that would go against his very selective argument.

Anyone who lists Logan Swann as a top class signing has zero credibility whatsoever.

At the risk of butting in on yet another FA/ME love fest ( )...what is your definition of a "REAL TOP CLASS" signing?

How many real top class players are there actually in the world?

So Menzies is a real top class signing?

So would one real top class signing a season be a realistic expectation for any club who is legally constrained by the salary cap?

What is better - one real top class signing and a few average players
or
several extremely good but maybe not "World class" signings?

Counter to that, due to the paucity of RL coverage in the media, this is the one place where you can read informed and sustained discussion of the Bulls (in and amongst ;) ). And both FA and ME contribute to that, even though there is some repitition on occasions.

The way it comes across to me is both of them are more interested finding out 'who's dads harder than the other' or 'who's got the biggest willy'. One has a dig, then the other and vice versa, everyday it seems. They are like my two infant children at times.
