if we are on -12 because we are taking the toxic spot then by the same logic we should also be on the same fundig as the toxic team.

I can entirely see whey prepacks and phoenixes should stand a penalty, but if actual new startups get a penalty then why aren't for example Toronto on -12 points? They had as much connection with the old Bulls as we now have.

Isn't the 12 point deduction meant to be the price tag the new club has to pay for the "privilege" of starting life in the Championship rather than C1? It would make sense if starting in the Champioship could be viewed as being advantageous and not an additional punishment.

It could in theory be that, but in this particular case the RFL pre-announced that ANYBODY wanting to apply to operate a Bradford team WOULD be in the Championship and would be on -12.

Obviously it would be a huge advantage to aminted onwer who would take the division by storm, and it could also be an utter disaster for, er, owners like we were ever likely to get.

Didn't one of the jounos on twitter say the players were training today? How is Mick not there with binoculars to give us the team news for Sunday?? you would assume whoever is on that field today with Leon will be playing Sunday and announced tomorrow.

If, and its a big if, the rumours of Brian McClennan turn out to be true I'd be very happy with that.

As of yesterday they wasn't at tong, and all the rugby post have been taken down
