Thats a very nice sirt but you do realise a lack of sponsors is a bad thing?

I had thought that myself to be fair. Just from the photos I can see four available sponsor spots that haven't been filled, and that's without seeing the back or the shorts.
Shirts can look awful these days with too many on there, but they increase revenue for the club.

Away one. I hate to be off message but I think both of them look cheap.

I had a quick look in the shop after work and some of the new gear looks good, other stuff looks a bit cheap. The padded jackets look good and some of the training gear is nice. Some of the training gear has the Bulls and Kappa logos stuck on. I had a look at both of the kits and the sizes are way off. I'm usually a small and I had to try on a large and even then it was very snug. I'd definitely recommend trying the items on before you buy.

Totally leaving aside the design and colours, and just looking at the quality of the cloth and stitching we're a million miles from the Kooga stuff we got when we were in SL. To be fair, those were way 'over-engineered' and I still have a couple from that period which have been more than well worn and still look fine (and still fit..).

Since I pretty much always buy, at least one, replica playing shirt per year I'm happy to concede that I'm not too bothered about the shirt only lasting one season before falling apart. Though I've not noticed any reduction in prices to go with the reduced 'build quality'. 8)

Its already been said but I got my home shirt today, I’m usually a small - medium. I’ve had to buy an XL.

Sizing massively off. Let’s hope they can handle the exchanges in January when the orders come back.

The event today was good. Well organised and seemed to go smooth enough (apart from my season ticket needing to be re printed because my name wasn’t on the card!)

I can accept failure, but I can't accept not trying.

I have to agree, the photo doesn't do the shirts credit they look even worse in real life. They look like a cheap kit a park team has picked up off the net.

As I've said before, I think it's fairly clear that (rightly or wrongly depending on your views), the current regime at the club has making as much money as possible as their priority. The best way to make the highest profit on shirts is to charge full prices but pay less for the manufacture. So I wouldn't say it's overly surprising that people are judging these as cheaply made (I personally haven't seen them, so couldn't comment on that). I suppose as with everything else, it's a gamble that you hope it doesn't put enough people off buying them to mean you actually sell less at a higher profit and end up making a lesser total.

I suppose you don't fund a good squad from high costs and low profits.

I went with the intention of buying one possibly both but I wasn't wasting money on such poor quality.

To be fair, this won't be the first regime to do this and it won't be the last either. And that goes for plenty of other clubs too, not just ours.
