I reckon that if the OSV gets the thumbs down on 16th Feb we'll be moving to Valley Parade.

just been looking at pictures of valley parade and looks very good would be one of the best in super league and looks very big whats its capacity? i know the away stand needs redeveloping abit but i think away fans could accept it hhhaaa
i also remeber you having decent crowds there cant remeber but was it something like 11-12k average attendences for the 2 years you were there think it was 2 years anyway. overall if the new stadium dosent happen which in these times at the moment i dont think will happen but valley parade looks a great stadium and should be looked at by the bulls

If the OSV gets mothballed then both clubs could share VP on equal terms. The Council could use the money they were putting towards Odsal to buy back Valley Parade from Gordon Gibb, some rows could be taken out of the front of the Kop so the pitch could be extended a little and the second tier of the main stand could be finished off so that it actually reaches the end of the playing area...in theory of course.

I think any changes to the currenct "shape" of the ground are pretty much impossible due to building restrictions (Unless some housing in demolished!)

The away stand at Valley Parade is home to home supporters at the moment. You can get a pretty good view from the upper tier of the stand. Capacity of the ground is 25,136 all seater. (i think).

At the moment, there's no real need for expansion at Valley Parade. Bradford City average out about 11,000 turnout, and the Bulls get just under 10,000. There were plans to expand Valley Parade to in excess of 35,000. This could be done by extending the main stand to the end of the pitch (as you said), add a second tier to the Midland Road stand and build a new bigger and better Bradford End Stand. So it has the potential to expand if it's required.

I don't think Keighleys ground is fit for purpose either.

Is that something the council should sort out as well?

Isn't it the RFL's job seen as they own it?

they don't own it.

They own the lease. Like Bradford do with Odsal.

The co-op own cougar park.

Shouldn't you be barracking the co-op to build you a new ground then?

BTW how would a new cougar park help provide South Bradford PCT with a new surgery, Bradford Uni and Bradford College with sports facilities in South Bradford and a replacement for the soon to be defunct Richard Dunns Sport Centre in South Bradford?

I suppose they could do park and ride services from the levelled Richard Dunns site up to Keighley?

I don't know, but then again I haven't advocated anybody building a new ground for Keighley. My earlier post was highlighting the fact that Odsal is now your responsibility. You were paid £4 1/2 million to take it on. If that hasn't worked out, then you need to get on to your ex chairman for his lack of costings.

I don't really care about South Bradford, in the same way you lot don't care about Keighley.

I do care about fairness though, and there's no arguing that a lot of money has gone Odsals way. You were supposed to be in control of your own destiny 7 years ago, it hasn't worked out and your back onto the council again. Can you not see why some people would find this a little bit annoying?
