Maybe Cas genuinely want him? But he'll be at least 2-3 months off SL level and intensity (for a top 4 team anyway). So makes sense to loan him to us? That being said, Cas released their statement saying it was a months loan? Now the Bulls have said its a year loan. So god knows! I'm just thankful we have an experienced 2nd row so we can give Wilkinson a rest. Roche, Larroyer and Bentley to start.

Whatever the ins and outs we've added much needed experience in the pack for an as yet unknown period.

I understand he's had a few injury issues. Hopefully he's over those and can get match fit quickly.

Yeah he can't work but whilst this is processing he has a UK Visitor Visa - http://www.workpermit.com/immigration/united-kingdom/uk-visitor-visas Permitted Paid Engagement Visa: this visa allows people to enter the UK for up to a month to take part in a paid engagement. Such as a public speaking engagement, chairing a meeting, or attending a conference. I wonder if he can coach under this. Like chairing a meeting based on coaching? Or helping Beattie to some extent under the guise of public speaking (about coaching, analysing etc). Ideally we need him as soon as possible. Hopefully Beattie can collect a few wins between now and then so there isn't much expectation on Toovey's first few games.

Not sure if this has been mentioned but...
How about trying to get Jamie Peacock in for a stint ? He would be a massive boost for the current pack and his wage would surely be paid for by the extra numbers he'd put on the gate ! Surely he wouldn't want to bow out as a loser in the million pound game.
