Will the players get paid? if not are they free agents?

How does it work?

BTW think about CC's connections in the wider game and the emotional ties to the Bulls that might exist for some of those people, that might help in understanding who his backer might be - it ain't rocket science ;)

Being a bit more realistic than my Burgess and Crowe suggestion yesterday......what about Brian Smith?

He would certainly strike me as being one of CC's connections given he brought him to the club when the Bulls began. Also has emotional (and family) ties to the club and given his son is the coach it wouldn't be 'rocket science' to make such a link.

No idea what sort of cash he has but if others are involved as well it could be possible.

Getting impatient now. Just want this to be resolved!

Brian Smith could be involved with a CC bid but he isn't going to be bringing truckloads of cash. That is why he didn't get Wakey.

I can't see Brian having that much money laying around to be honest.

Hope all gets sorted tomorrow. Fingers crossed it's not green and someone with some £.

Yeah the money aspect made me think he would only be involved if it was a consortium.

I echo some of the previous comments too about really believing in Rohan, John Bastian and the academy structure. It really feels like something special is building and I really want to see where it all goes whoever the owner is.

Really like the look of the squad so far too and feel that if only a 6 point deduction then we have a real chance of doing well. It may even provide that added bit of motivation that we lacked during parts of last season.

To be Devil's advocate, can some of the fans please highlight some of Rohan's achievements to date that instil so much confidence.

This is not to say he won't be successful but from the outside his only real test last season was v featherstone, and he failed that badly.

Before everyone starts saying, it was Jimmy & Ferres squad, Moss, Chisolm, Howarth and Philbin were all added by Rohan.

The blind faith is admirable but I just don't get it.
