Good news about the wages. So who would have paid them? Does that mean the new owners are in place if they are paying wages?

It could be a number of things really. Could be the front runner has paid them and if he doesn't get it in the end, the new owner pays him back. Could be the RFL have advanced/loaned the wage bill for this month. Could be there was enough in the bank account that the administrator managed to use that to pay them. Unless they come out and say where the money came from, I don't think we can read anything into it.

My guess would be they were paid by the RFL with an agreement from the administrator this would be covered and paid back by new owners. Hence the urgency to resolve this prior to weekend.

Not sure if it would have been the RFL. Surely that would have been leaked/reported by now.

Now without getting too carried away here, I think that this is an excellent idea. The best way to deal with the running costs of a stadium is to utilise it a lot more and the Odsal White Elephant surely could do with further use.

Effectively we are only guaranteed that it will be used about 14 times a year, unless we had a half decent cup run with home games all the way. Finding a way to keep it open and in use all-year-round would benefit.

However, whether any interest would be garnered in Bradford for a Union side is the big question.

To me though, it shows how a ground share with the likes of BPA makes the most sense. However, I am not sure that Bradford Council and the RFL have an awful lot of sense.

I could envisage a new sporting club on the lines of Northern Bulls and Northern Wasps. A fresh start and far more generic
