Crude and slow Whino, your attack was no better than that of a clumsy child.

Deacon, got to be dropped.. : Mon Mar 16, 2009 11:17 am
The guy has to be dropped now. Too slow, creates nothing and even his kicking game is poor now.

Mcnamara stated at the beginning of the seaon that players would be picked on merit so stand by your words and drop Deacon!

Why not try Jeffries and Menzies at half back we cant get any worse.

As has been discussed elsewhere if you drop Deacon and play Menzies and Jeffries who acts as playmaker?

Both Menzies and Jeffries are runners. Menzies played outside a kingpin organiser in Matt Orford at Manly.

What we need is Deacon to find some form or to bring in a new player if/when somebody decent becomes available.

As has been said by myself and FA we missed the boat in not getting Thorman in the close season.

Play maker? something Deacon certainly aint. Jeffries is a runner but he does try to create and Menzies has got good hands so i think its worth a try.

When you're a Bradford fan there's always a light at the end of the tunnel.

Unfortunately it's usually an oncoming train

He's not a playmaker now. He should be but he's not

Things must be bad Sam if you think Thorman's the answer.

He was instrumental for Hull on Sunday and played our halfbacks off the park.

His game seems to have raised since he returned to his original club.

Thorman is one in a considerable line of players who seem to attract polarised opinions, but I've always rated him extremely highly as a player, and he definitely has been rejuvenated and re-enthused by his move to Hull - any fool can surely see that. He played out of his skin on Sunday and his skills were a treat to watch, even as a fan of the losing team.

His style would indeed have fitted in perfectly with the pre-2009 model Deacon and the Bulls' style. Over the years we have benefited greatly with that type of No. 6, from Nigel Stephenson to John Woods.

You might just be poking fun, but as a comment, it makes no sense at all.
