Fans Forum Questions : Sun May 24, 2009 10:47 pm
My Question: What is the club doing to ensure change is carried out? Every successful business must change whether right or wrong, after being the club to follow when Super League began we now seem to be falling behind other clubs who offer a better overall package, are fresh ideas being welcomed?, as it seems there has been little change in the way the club looks forward and operates, finally would the club be willing to take the risk of speculating to accumulate, for instance, risks to be taken to attract the crowds back?

Has anyone else on here sent any questions in?

You can lead a horse to water but you can't climb a ladder with a bell in both hands.

My question is as follows:

I am unable to attend every home game due to other commitments and as a result sometimes "cherry pick" the games I attend especially if the weather is poor. Has the club considered introducing a cheap season ticket in an attempt to bolster crowds similar to how our neighbours at Valley Parade have done?

I would be more inclined to buy a cheap season ticket and then feel obliged to attend even when the weather is poor or the game is on Sky if I had already bought a ticket. At present £17 entry to the game doesn't feel like value for money.

I seem to recall a similar question was asked at the last forum regarding the Giants offer for season tickets. Perhaps someone with a better memory can recall the answer? Without a backer to help cover a possible loss, it may well be a risk we cannot afford to take? In any case our season tickets are still among the cheapest in SL I believe.

What can the fans do to help turn the fortunes around (on & off the pitch)?

And, can you put an attendance number on what we would need to achieve week in week out to be able to realise some of your goals (please state what they are)?

You know where to email these questions. Posting them on here won't get them asked at the forum.

My question has gone to the club via e-mail. I thought the purpose of the thread was to get an idea of the questions that have been sent?

Personally I would find it interesting to see which questions were sent in and actually answered - ie the club can't hide from the fact that certain questions were asked (via mail directly) and then also shown here on the fans site.

The club will no doubt answer specific hand picked questions for which they have a "decent" answer. There may be some tough questions sent in that they choose not to answer, but if those questions are shown on here there may be an opportunity for others who attend the meeting to ask any questions that were not answered?

I can accept failure, but I can't accept not trying.

I'd like to know when our England Academy players selected for the tour down under last season, that are spoken so highly of are goping to be given the oppurtunity to show their skills in Super League. There has been talk of a injury crisis at Bulls last season and this season, yet we have seen only 2 of the lads given the chance to shine, and for only minimal gametime(Yes I know Crookes and Hyde are injured).

Personally, I think Steve McNamara needs to get them playing a lot more often. Dont hold them back, play them here and there.

Well I went to the last forum and they allowed questions from the floor, so anyone with a 'tough question' should attend to ensure it is answered to their satisfaction.
