Yeah, they were shocking today. I don't think they touched the ball once.

I felt a bit sorry for Platt today. Dont get me wrong, I'm no way a fan of his, but I thought the people calling him before the game had kicked off and before he'd even touched the ball was poor form. As turned out he didnt go to bad and looked settled out their on the wing, when Macca finally managed to put our form player in the position he'd been making the most impact recently.

I'm a supporter of Tez aswell, but he was crap today, it wasn't him that cost us the game though.

Worrincy, well I called for him to be dropped in my team selection earlier on this weekend and it would seem justified given his performance, he was very poor and Cook made more ground when he came on than Mike did all day. Can't believe Cook that's not been retained.

Worrincy was crap today as was Newton.

Platt wasn't that bad and looked good up until his disallowed try. He knocked on a couple of times but seemed to regain his composure back on the wing. He really is now used as a scapegoat, after he was disallowed I had my eardrum burst by the lovely lady behind me shouting "He's poop Platt, he doesn't know how to run forwards" . Then she laughed and congratulated the Wigan team when she thought he was injured.

I've been a fan of Terry for most of his stay here but this last season he's been very poor. No, it wasn't his fault completely. The Worrincy missed tackle gave them a try that might not have been. Halley's try should have stood as should Langley's attempt too.

In the second half I really started to enjoy the game, we looked excellent for about 20 mins. Then we took Godwin off and things went to shi#

Talking about Steve's 'positives' , Donaldson looks a good player. He tackled Feka three times round the legs, dumped someone else and took the ball forward well for someone who must be around 14 stone

People around me were giving Platt some stick today...despite everything, it was unjustified. He was no worse than anyone else today.

After those two knock-ons (which followed his picking up a leg injury in the act of scoring the first of the disallowed tries (and it would have been a good one too) he was not at all bad today. But even in the "responsible" group around me, folk were saying they were just waiting for a Platt "special". The guy will never be able to do any good in some people's eyes, I fear.

Was very impressed with Donaldson. Godwin had a very good game (witness what happened when he was not on the park) and Halley another good and very eager one. And as I said somewhere already. Sykes looked much better at 6.
