There is an article in League Express alleging that Cas have sorted a deal out with Tony Martin but have been forced to try and pull out of it as they've run out of quota spots. They report that Tony Martin is seeking legal advise although he was unavailable for comment and it is before the anti tampering deadline.

Just playing devils advocate. Could we cross a teams palm with silver if they were forced to honour a contract to an unnamed player to get them to release another contracted one.

Rangi Chase and Danny Borugh would be a mean half back partnership and would compliment a backline including Greg Inglis very well.

Plus he'd probably put pressure on them for a release giving that he'd get to play with players like Burgess, Inglis, Tate, Brough, etc.

It's probably the likelihood of having to partner Deacon that's putting him off.
