Sounds like we've picked up some injuries as well (just knew this would happen) seriously, call the reserve game off and just play our U19 side against Hemel. Wrap Crossley, Ryan and Minchella in cotton wool. Egodo was on crutches after the game. Been one of our best players last few weeks.

Wouldn't be so sure about Whitehaven.

Oldham will have a depleted squad against a London side who are no mugs on their own patch. They have had some poor results but remember they nearly pulled off a shock against York just over a month ago.

why will Oldham be depleted against London? If you're thinking bans from yesterday they will be served the following week in semifinal not next week.

The attacking play in general is pants at the moment.

But it wasn't in the first half. That's the frustrating thing.

Made a change from recent weeks but I'm baffled as to why we went from that to the nonentity of a performance we put in during the second half. Every player made a bollox of something and it concerned me that nobody seemed to be able to provide any leadership out of it.

Something I find ever so slightly disturbing is hearing Kear being so perplexed at how shambolic we were in the second half. His fame is largely centered around graft and making a team greater than the some of its parts. And yet by his standards I'm not convinced he's achieving that with us. I haven't a clue why though.

This is possibly the lowest quality playing group he's worked with. Maybe that's it?

Aye, fair point. I forgot everything happens two weeks behind in the lower leagues.

I was stood with an Oldham fan and his comments were that you are going to have to get rid of a lot of this lot if you go up.

He's right there. We need some leaders and some experience. Webster is a good start. Think the spine needs some attention too.
