I'd start Flanagan. Hallas maybe on the bench or in the backrow. I'd also only pick two of Keyes, Chisholm and Lilley. I'd say Lilley misses out.

McNally/Pickersgill
Hitchcox
Gibson
Egodo/Oakes
Ryan
Keyes
Chisholm
Crossley
Flanagan
Bustin
Garside
Minchella
Wood

No room for Lilley in this side. He was poor again on Sunday and if you can't make an impact in a game like that against poor opposition when are forwards are so dominant, then I think the writing is on the wall.
If Kear persists with shoehorning him into the side next year, it will be to our detriment.

That won't matter if we lose on Sunday

Asbsolutely. We only need two halves in a game and JK has to decide which two it it is. Before the next game preferably.

Not sure where I am with Hallas. He looks ineffective for long periods and then puts in a solid shift of good work - will the real Sam Hallas stand up, please?

I'm also sitting on the fence with Flanagan. He has to be in the side, but as a starter or off the bench? As old Will Shakespeare once said, "that is the question". The only thing I'm certain of is that I'm not really sure...

What I would like to see is the team come out fired up, and clearly at least as enthused, sharp and pacy as our opponents, playing like they both mean it and believe it.

What I would NOT like to see is a repeat of the York first half debacle, where in a huge game, we don't turn up in the first half, or the MPG where Wakefield visibly seemed to want it more than we did.

If somebody outplays us in a fine hard game, I'm alright with that, but those sort of inexplicable displays I find hard to take.

I think we're all in agreement there FA. I still find it baffling that we came out so passive versus York. Did Kear have them listening to whale song in the dressing room while the joss sticks were burning?
