James Green has confirmed on his twitter account that hes leaving at the end of the season due to the Bulls stalling / unable to offer him a new deal

It was the person asking the fairly leading question that inferred Green was leaving due to some sort of embargo on signing:

Q "Is it true that the Bulls has stalled/not been able to offer you a deal and that you are moving on at end of season? Gutted if that is the case"

A "Yes mate"

Green wasn't likely to say "No mate, they COULD sign me up on a new deal but opted not to". That twitter response isn't a smoking gun about deals being held up imo.

Not worried about Green, he's injury and suspension prone - I also know we have an adequate replacement coming in

He's a good replacement if it's him. Assuming that wider issues are sorted and we do actually make it to next season.

On Green he's got his flaws but he has some aggression and is still relatively young. All props in the championship have flaws and he is one of the better ones (proved by York wanting him). I'd sooner have kept him given that Bustin is likely to be gone and Magrin too. Peltier and Kirk also have deals that are running out. We look thin there.

Looking at this season I think our props have been average Crossley and Peltier apart, we need better than Magrin,Bustin,Green

I'd keep Bustin and just get him in better shape. He's only 22, that's far too young to be writing him off as a prop imo.
