In order of priority I'd hope we were looking for a halfback, a prop forward and a front row/loose.
I'm actually ok with the backs we have and I think if Grant and Gibson leave then players from our academy can step up.
The foundations of a good side are built in the pack and the halves. The backs are essentially luxuries and I wouldn't want us to be using too much of our budget in that area. You could argue that whilst Webster has been very good for us and very consistent, we're still not getting our money's worth because our play is so poor that he never gets the ball in a position where he can do damage with it.
Every good side has an excellent spine which the rest of the team should be built around. I completely understand what you are saying about Webster as he should be lethal from 20yrds out yet he rarely gets the ball at full pace.
For me, Hitchcox could be awesome from full back in the same vain Jake Mullaney did from that position if we decided to let the players play what is in front of them.
Another half back to compliment Lilley and Keyes (depends on how Milnes recovers), two new wingers and a new prop would also be on my priority wish list.
I think if we are to be ambitious about making a real push up the table we need to make a good 6-7 new signings for next season.
