2021 Squad Numbers : Tue Feb 02, 2021 3:02 pm  

We should soon be issuing our squad numbers for this season. What do we think they will be and will they include such as Johnson, Barlow or Maskill. Are these players still with us? I know Maskill was only on a trial basis.

Those players are no longer at the club. You can add Keelan Foster to that list as well.

Sadly it become a habit over the last few years that when players contracts expire they dissappear with out any formal announcemet. Not even a short statement from the club thanking them for their efforts.

To be fair I think the majority of squads look light. Once you get passed the 20th man, most squads are into unknowns.

What I will say is our squad looks the most balanced since we probably came down to the championship. Beats the days of having 10 wingers and one half back.

Confirmed by JK the blank squad numbers are for new players who will join b4 the start of the season.

Any names rumoured?
What positions would u like to see?

Id certanly wand a couple more forwards and probably a utility back who can cover in the halves

Spoken to a. Journo mate reckons one deffo coming around April can’t name names though... another name I’ve heard mentioned is Adam Tangata Wakey need his quota spot for chase Stanley apparently
