Some of us are there through the good and bad. Some only the good hense the reason not to open the away end today.

As i said earlier another poor following as its been all year. Theres more people on message boards and social medaia groups than actually go to the games. Which amazes me as they all have an opinion on the game despite not being there. :USTUPID:

Then it is up to club to ensure the team on the pitch is worth investing in. There hasn’t been any ‘good’ times for a long time, the glory supporters have long since departed. There probably is a couple of thousand people who could be convinced back more regularly if the Bulls had a side who played with some pride in the shirt.

You might not have other interests to spend your time and money on but others will, so it’s up to the club to try and assemble a side that people want to go watch.

That argument would work better if there had been any good times in the last 5 years.

Not sure which forums and groups you’re on, but the traffic on here is minimal compared to even 3 years ago.

I went week in week out when were fielding a team of kids to get battered every match. We all knew we were going to be relegated, saw a club legend booed off and all whilst taking abuse from opposition fans.

That came after the trauma of seeing the club go bust numerous times and the indignity of bucket collections and players doing car washes. I can remember renewing my season ticket on a Saturday before driving up to Scotland on holiday one October half term. To be scrolling through my phone on the Monday to find out the club had gone bust - again. Great.

Then after all that Nigel Wood emerged from the shadows and it left a bad taste in my mouth. I make absolutely no apology for hardly going to any games anymore whilst he’s there. I’m yet to be convinced I haven’t had the p155 taken out of me by the current owners of the club.

I don’t question why someone would want to continue going, that’s their business, but it doesn’t make them anymore of a fan than me and it doesn’t make me a glory supporter. I’m way past caring about fan points. I’ve defended the club when we’ve brought the game into disrepute through financial mismanagement, I’ve actually hated other clubs and it’s all been an absolute waste of time. I’ve been there when we’ve been at our lowest through nothing more than guilt and loyalty to the players/staff. It’s not enough to keep me going forever.

Totally agree with you M_BB. The arrival of Nigel Wood did it for me. After 60 years following Northern/Bulls his arrival made my mind up, he`d already ruined Halifax and the RL when in charge, plus already had a big say in the Bulls demise when chief of RL. What is he here for? The club is now back to it`s early sixties state when it went out of business in 1963. Well done Nigel another nice mess you`ve got another club in.
