Hmmm ok dont know much about the fella but not got me jumping for joy. Hope he can change that. Looks like we went for the cheap option that wont rock the boat.

Just wondering if some of you that are moaning about being underwhelmed were expecting Craig Bellamy or Ivan Cleary, no no maybe Trent Robinson?

We are a Champ team thats been bouncing round the middle if the table for the last few years years for gods sake. Weve managed to appoint the assistant coach of the best team in SL.

Honest question who did you all want that was a realistic target?

We aren't going to get better than a SL assistant
Sam Tomkins has said it's a great signing and wishes he was staying at Catalans that will do for me over some opinions on here.

As for cheap option will he really be that cheap ? assistant at a SL club… what will they be on? Must be a decent wack at Catalans too famous for splashing the cash…. Can’t see he would wanna make a massive pay cut for 3 years

Not much in the way of previous head coach experience, so difficult to have any expectations one way or the other.

Let's hope the club have made a better appointment this time around. They seem confident, judging by the 3 year deal offered. Fingers crossed.
