How comprehensive was that ?

Magnificent effort from Rhino and the boys, so bring on Cullen and Widnes (although I hope for Keighley) at Blackpool.

What a triumph for good old-fashioned coaching !

It would be fitting if Keighley and Batley met in the final as we were jointly shafted when denied promotion after SL took over in 1995.



Ian Millward, Alex Murphy, Des Drummond, John Woods, Tommy Sale.........your boys (and those from Warrington and Saints) took a helluva beating !

For what its worth i intend to go and support Batley in Blackpool.

Well done Batley; soaked up plenty of pressure and capitalised on your chances when they came - great performance!!

As for Leigh though, tonight showed why they should have been the ones to be relegated down to Championship One because they're just not up to Championship standard as a team and club...

Good luck for the rest of the season Batley but Leigh should be in the bottom tier of RL...

Have you actually looked at the Championship league table recently , if you do you will see the Leigh are actually in second position , and yet on the evidence of one game you can deduce that we should be in a lower division , amazing

These are the fans that don't realise Leigh didn't finish in the relegation zones and were relegated due to the rules with Toulouse, then when the rules saved Leigh, they slate us and say we should have gone down.

Go on then I’ll bite, the Leigh team under performed last Thursday in the main due to an excellent performance from Batley, but you don’t get to be second in the league if you’re not up to the standard.

I’d be interested to hear your views on why you think Leigh, as a club isn’t up to the standard.
