Impressed with the vocal support from Leeds fan last night and got me thinking of matches and grounds which stand out for noise, atmosphere and excitement.

All seater stadiums seem to have lost the fans ability to create noise...it is even affects soccer fans IMO. Having witnessed many matches over the years with tremendous atmosphere at a variety of grounds and with different supporters it would be difficult to judge who has the noisiest and most passionate fans.

I'll start the argument HKR's East Stand v Leeds South stand would be a belter ........although Rovers v Hull derby games take some beating in terms of noise.

If you like 2nd hand songs nicked from moronball clubs, a noisy drum to fill in the space between ears with something, an out of tune trumpet and a general support of bending the rules by their own club but whinging like mad when the opposition do it to them then yes that's an atmosphere.

Far livelier than at a lot of grounds and certainly noisier.

Not my cup of tea but the Leeds fans like it.

The Saints - Leeds match should be cracker.

Who will prove to be the noisier?

Mind you the match officials will be confused by all the "Forward" shouts no matter who has the ball.

One has a feeling the original poster is a HKR fan.

Why do a Rovers fans more than any seem to HAVE to start a thread about "who the best" in something is, and always answer themselves?!

"Who has the best away support? Well, I think Hull KR do, but the others do alright as well..."
"Who's fans make the most noise? East stand at Hull KR is better than anyone, and nothing beats the Hull derby..."

I know you haven't had much to shout about in a while, but at least wait until someone gives you plaudits rather than asking for them yourselves! It just appears, well... desperate!

So threads like Hull have the best pack in Super League and threads on the mighty away following Hull are taking to Bradford tomorrow etc, etc are completely different.....because they are started by Hull fans.

The first one was a thread about Hull's pack. It wasn't disguised as a thread about "who has the best pack", so it's not the same.

The second is a fact. We have sold out our allocation to Bradford. We aren't claiming to have the best travelling support in the world ever!

So yeah, they're different.
