He did what? Seymour was never charged with anything... Simple excuse for the Broncos to shed him from the roster when he wasnt wanted.
He was alleged to have been in a garden near a bar, not a private residence.
And yes, the pettiness of the media now is absolutely insane. NRL footballers are dragged through the mud by certain papers and public wanting to make a name for themselves.
Another player, a junior Rooster has been fined 20% of his wage for drink driving, yet that isnt enough for some sections of the media.
As I said, by suspending Brett Stewart, the NRL made their own bed to be crucified by the media. Most occurances are less then that of what occurs in the premier league another proffesional sporting organisations around the world on a weekly basis.
