Gateshead negotiated six point deduction in the agreement they were relegated instead of Leigh last season.

Sad news but hardly surprising.Havens gates have dropped alarmingly in recent seasons from 2500ish to 3 figures.

losing every week didn't help.

Oldham also have a winding up order against them. RL outside of SL is on its knees - the rate we are going, London Skolars and Gateshead will make the C1 play-offs next season without needing to win a match!

Not to rosy in SL! Look at the uncertainty at Quins!

Teams shouldn't spend above their means all to easy to blame the RFL for no P & R etc

Still is a heartland of talent and plenty of RL spectators as well. Trouble is, those spectators would rather travel hundreds of miles to watch Super League games rather than watch the teams on their doorstep.

hopefully this will all be sorted out soon.

The rfl need to create some structures to increase the stability of all proffesional clubs.
