Switched off at 8 minutes 18-0 and game over.embarrassing stuff from the Bulls, thought they would have had a real dig today.

Don't blame Thaler for Sky having the ref miked up and the sound level too loud.

Communication from the ref to the players is exactly what we want from a ref.

One of several reasons he is the best ref in the country. But listening to the referee all game is emblematic of Sky and British Rugby League fans flawed obsession with the officials. The sound should be turned up only when required.

Robert Hicks talked about this several weeks ago. He (or the other refs) aren't the ones in charge of the volume switch or even the decision for the audience to be able to hear the refs. It's all on Sky this one, the ref is just doing his job.....he can't be running around thinking "I better communicate more quietly so I don't annoy the TV viewers."
