Superb win for Wakey, missing probably seven of the their "best team".

But beating Leeds as well, happy days!

Leeds had 8/9 guys out who probably make our starting 17 and we’re down a prop after 20 mins because of concussion, and people complain when Sky make it sound like only one side have players missing.

I'm intrigued to know who the eight or nine are?

Wakey were missing Johnstone, Tupou,Miller, Brough, Wood, Randell & Batchelor, all of whom would take up a place in the first seventeen.

Walker, Hurrell, Cuthbertson, Ward, Ablett, Crosby, JJB, Cam Smith and the new signing Seumanufagai is still awaiting his work permit.

Our full back in the halfs.

Make no mistake I wasn’t confident of a win for wakey today with a full team out almost. But I am very very pleased we roughed it out.

That’s a huge opportunity to beat wakey slipped through their fingers.

All missing, Leeds at least still had their first choice pivots (more or less). Had two backrowers playing 9.

Anyhow it was a tough hard fought win, credit to Leeds and especially Brad Dwyer for making us work for it.

I think you're pushing it a bit if they would all slot into the Leeds best seventeen!

Anyhow, any victory against Leeds is just that little bit sweeter for the whipping boy rabble.

Not saying you didn’t have your own or more but people making it sound one sided. 12 out compared to 9 and that became 10 after 20 mins and a day less turnaround over Easter, isn’t as big a gap as made out.
