Yeah, agree with that. Imagine - there's 30 seconds left on the clock and a team is trying to get out of their 20 meter area. It's 16-16. The defending team stray offside. 2 point penalty to the team that's struggling to get out of their 20. That's a non-starter. It would be a brave ref giving a penalty in that instance and it would be a crazy way to end a game. That said - i wish my missus would take even a passing interest in the game - hats off to Mrs Leaguefan - a rare breed indeed.

Think this idea would be more relevant in the other code but then again that would mean most games would end up with minus scores! Would make the points difference interesting.
