Alker's pass didn't look forward to me - it went a long way forward relative to the pitch but that doesn't matter, it was pretty flat relative to Alker as he ran forward.

Relatively speaking, you are talking out of your arse.

Feel free to tell me your interpretations of the rules, then. How the ball travels along the pitch doesn't matter, only how it leaves the passer.

That pass was clearly forward as was one in the build up to Salfords first try.

thought the sanme, the 2nd one isnt even close, at no stage could yo say that Alkers hands were facing "backwards" when he released the ball. Thats why it went forward.

It's debatable - to me it looks pretty flat, but most on here seem to believe because it went a good few yards forward on the pitch (which, it did) it was a massively outrageous forward pass. Relativity applies to everything, not just physics.

It was forward but as has been discussed on our board, things even themselves out.

We played Hull 3 seasons ago on Sky and they were awarded two tries from appalling decisions from the video ref. One where Motu Tony was help up and grounded the ball after the whistle had been blown by the ref and another scored by Raynor in the last couple of minutes where he knocked on in putting the ball down.

They got the rub of the green that time, this time we got it.
