when was the last time lancs or yorks played a game? I cant see any point in wales playing a game against either of them. Id put money on this game been the week after the grand final but not including any players that are in it so in effect will be against england"A". It might take a few years of wales taking 70-0 beatings but the only way their going to improve is by playing games. As for a 3 match england wales test series, when would you like to fit this into the calender?

My main reasons are:

It should allow Wales to be more comeptetive.

It will give more england fringe players a chance to sample a representive enviroment and push their case aginst that of established internationals.

Yeah real name is Rodney Parade hence the name change.

It seems the Crusaders are looking at taking games on the road next season with the three Cities in South Wales in contention as well as Wrexham.

It needs to be done in my opinion to get fans coming from further afield. I know the North Welsh lot won't travel down here every other week but it could boost away numbers.

Llanelli Scarlets used to play a game or two a season at The Racecourse and always got good gates (don't think they have done so this season, probably because of moving mid season to the new ground, but there is an apetite there for top level sport and I'd imagine a one off game there would draw a bigger gate than the same match at the Brewery Field).

Agree as the only Pro league club in wales it gives CC the chance to play where ever they want and spread themselves around abit.

Wrexham are a better target area for the likes of Widnes and St Helens. Think the Crusaders need to stick to South Wales to attract new support personally.

Then Crusaders vs Saint Helens at the racecourse ground would be the ideal fixture.
