2022 is a HUGE year for th sport in the UK......if the clubs can fill grounds then it will be hard for SKY to ignore, especially if we can turn the heads of other broadcasters.
Get full stadiums on the BBC as part of the FTA deal and even if you have to bus people in, fill grounds for challenge cup games on TV......because perception is everything and a west Yorkshire team v a west Yorkshire team in front of 4,000 in a 12,000 stadium just.looks tin pot

Whereas Yorkshire v Lancashire in front of 16,000 would look fantastic if marketed correctly !!!

Note *Derek Beaumont gave out 10,000 free tickets as a Thank You when already promoted end of 2016*

3 Game series played Wednesday night, FTA TV, almost free tickets to start with, a must have replica jersey.........if only we could come up with a catchy name for it........something ORIGINal.

Clubs would never allow it. SKY would drown it at birth unless they were given control and fans would whine about getting up for work the next day...best create it and put it straight on the X-Box

Alternatively & as Oasis say "Roll with it" & as it's not a Super League fixture Sky have no say, si if they want the subscriptions & advertising revenue they cough up large like they do for the 100 cricket.!!!
We can't let lack of ambition & 8@11$ kill the game through lack of forward momentum !!!

IF.....you can get the SL clubs to release players 3 TIMES mid season, for a game that might injure them or possible right them off for the season
and
IF you can convince apathetic "only if it's on my season ticket mate" Rugby League fans to fork out even a fiver and bus fare
and
IF you can convince the BBC or ITV to show it prime time straight after a soap opera


then maybe...just maybe, we'd try it for a year before caving in and reverting to Magic as a pseudo way to grow the games exposure

What don't you understand? People who are learning the game, still need to enjoy the game and the day out. This is 2021, not 1971. We are competing with every other family attraction and/or distraction.

This could also be used as a measure for International selection etc

Nothing wrong with the concept but, it needs fitting into the fixture calendar, rather than squeezed in at the last minute.
Just for novelty, each side could have, say, 2 wild card selections.
