Yes that is on another tangent.

However, ER is attempting to clarify your point that stand offs in the NRL make 30 tackles a game. You said it, now can you back that up ?

If you can't then just accept that you were incorrect and exaggerating and stop avoiding the question. It is so obvious its embarrassing.

it wasnt a tangent.

read the thread fruit loop.

he raised the point, not me, then i started laughing at him

dally,

Why do you think McGuire would not adapt as well as Ellis has, given that McGuire was a better defender (in terms of tackles % rate) than Ellis?

too small to play at 6.

could he adapt eventually at 6, maybe so.

would a club risk him straight off in that position, doubt it.

if you read my original post on mcguire i said i doubt a club would start him at 6 due to his defence and then i named other positions he might get a start at.

I know that but Benji has played 6 for years, regardless of the 3 games at 7 this year. Wernt Wests once talking (3 or 4 years back) about signing McGuire and moving Benji to 7?

Dont know ho that would have worked because they both tend to play the game identically, and when they are off then you really know about it

the bulldogs were the team interested in mcguire.

it was after leeds beat them in the WCC and they saw how good he is.

i still believe that would a current NRL club want danny mcguire for the 6 position?

no way in hell.

would they get him as a utility and then maybe after a few games give him a try there, maybe.

benji is a much better player than mcguire anyway.

There are 3 clear points in this thread.

1. Could McGuire make it as an NRL 6.

2. The ability of Nathan Hindmarsh in tackling.

3. Your assertion that NRL stand offs make 30 tackles a game.

All anybody is asking you to do is prove your 3rd point. You however refuse to do so and continue going on about point 2 as this clearly isn't a valid point so you can sit on your high horse regarding it.

Thats me done on this thread, can't be dealing with people who completely avoid clear questions.
