Well as it has just been stated on GMR that Stuart Cummings (head of referees I believe) has said that the try should have stood, a lot of humble pie all round on this thread

Heard it.Cummings said that had the ball sailed between the posts Leeds would have been awarded a point for a drop goal.

So is he going to give up all th points Leeds have scored off forward passes ?

They'd still be looking fir their 1 st SL win

So a try that results from an unintended drop kick is against the rules but a goal from an unintended drop kick is fine?Hmmmm.
